  • Recognized hard signs of vascular trauma and their need for exploration
  • Triage and treat traumatic injuries to the neck, chest, retroperitoneum, extremities, and solid organs
  • Diagnose massive hemothorax and recognize the need for thoracotomy
  • Describe technique and indications for resuscitative thoracotomy
