Upon completion... differentiate the important types of congenital anomalies and describe the important steps in imaging and intial surgical care
describe the significance of various symptoms such as bilious emesis in the newborn
appreciate the common "lumps and bumps" of infancy with focus on prioritzation of treatment vs observation
discuss the surgical approach to neonatal and infant surgical emergencies and recognize those lesions that may need triage to a center with subspecialty pediatric surgical care.
