Sara Buckman, MD, PharmD, FACS is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Section of Acute and Critical Care Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her undergraduate, pharmacy and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin, followed by her general surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin. She completed her Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Washington University and stayed on as faculty where she now works as a Surigcal Intensivist. She is the Program Director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship, Co-Medical Director of the Surgical, Trauma and Burn Intensive Care Unit, and a Medical Co-Director for the TeleICU. She is board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
